work either online or off-line. For instance,
you can scan inside a truck on the street
in off-line mode, and then go online when
you come back to the building and synchronize
the information. You can also scan rugs online
and immediately access any information available
on those rugs, and be able to tell whether
a rug is available
for sale, reserved for another customer, consigned
or sold. |
